Stop At: Fondation Claude Monet, 84 Rue Claude Monet, 27620 Giverny France

09:15 - 11:00 Arrival in Giverny. Visit of the Claude Monet's home in Giverny to admire the nature that inspired one of the most famous French painters and founder of Impressionism. Visit the house and Norman flower gardens and Claude Monet’s studio.

11:00 - 12:00 Free time for walking in the Giverny village to admire flowered houses, art galleries, and cafes. We recommend You as well to visit Museum of Impressionism Giverny. Not too big with very nice collection including some of Claude Monet's paintings.

Tour guide arrived on time and was a good driver. We did want more time in Giverny and wish the availability of tours with more time had been more clearly stated in the list of options.

We chose a small tour to ensure an intimate and in-depth experience. Our friendly driver, Roman, collected us from our hotel exactly on time. Our guide, Valerie, was an absolute delight. She shared her expansive knowledge of France, French History and French art as an introduction to our visit to Monet's house and garden and for later in the day, Versailles and the trials and tribulations of French Royalty. We enjoyed a fabulous (Bucket List) day. Thank you to Valerie and Roman for a day we won't forget. Merci beaucoup. Michelle and Rudy.

The tour was not as advertised. We were rushed around the house and garden by the guide. There was no chance to explore the village of Giverny and no visit to Versailles. After the event the communication between La Vacanza Travel and ourselves and subsequently between Clewel Travel was disappointing . It turned out to be an expensive exercise and not value for money.

Claude Monet Gardens and home are just one hour from Paris and so worth visiting. The Gardens are breathtaking and a must to see. Also. his small home is also worth seeing. Can’t say enough about how beautiful. If you love gardening or just like flowers this is a must!
