Overview

Discover the home of Claude Monet, his workshop, and the impressive garden surrounding his home outside of Paris. Your audio-guided tour will depart from Paris, with a travel time of about 1.5 hours on an air-conditioned bus.

Giverny, a quaint village in Normandy, attracted many Impressionist painters in the 19th century; they followed the lead of the movement’s founder, Claude Monet, who lived there for 43 years.

On arrival, you will have 2 hours to tour the home and grounds, visit in complete freedom with your audioguide the Master’s house where the spectacular colors and enchanting garden were designed like a work of art. Walk through history as you see how Monet lived and was inspired by his surroundings.
You will be dazzled by the flowerbeds and plants, and you will sense the artist’s emotions in front of the famous water lilies and weeping willows in
the water garden.

At the end of the tour, you'll travel back to Paris at the original departure location.

Not a good value. Next time would take the train. The audio tour was a disappointment. Expected to see Monet's grave. Monet's house and grounds were beautiful and interesting.

Tried contacting earlier than the required time to move my trip due to sickness. Was told I couldn’t and couldn’t get my money back.

The experience of being in the home and garden of one of my favorite artists was a blessing. Every inch of both were filled with beauty and Monet’s spirit.

I booked the tour to Giverny because I was going with my mom and she has mobility issues. I figured that by taking the bus it would be easier for her, but it wasnt at all. The bus parks so far away from the entrance, I think it is a 1 km walk more or less, and by the time we get to the Garden she was already beated. Then we have only sbout 90 minutes to explore the house and therefore she could not rest. I dont know why but the guide did not let.us go.with him and the guided group back to the bus, he insisted we should go on our own. We got lost and she had to walk more than necessary. He went back to rescue us but she was super tired. Not only that, but the Garden and House of Monet are not acessible at all. There are a lot of stairs, stair everywhere and no acessibility solution. It was a nightmare from beginning to end. I strongly recommend people with disalibities to stay away from this attraction as well as this guided bus tour. I regretted everything about it.

Giverny is absolutely beautiful. Bus trip was well-organized. Tour guides were helpful and friendly. Unfortunately the gardens were very crowded and it was difficult to be able to spend time admiring the scenes.
