Our tour guide was warm and friendly. Our group got split up so we missed part of the presentation. Luckily we caught up to her and she graciously gave us a one on one summary. Unsure if the tour package was of value compared to booking tickets to the top on your own.
Save yourself the extra just buy a ticket at the gate. There were at least 30 people in our group couldn’t hear a thing the guide said. Ended up losing them when we got on the tower.
Nice trip, but nowhere on materials sent to me did I see a note (or address) about meeting the tour at the Universal offices. I got to the Eiffel Tower at 8:00AM for the indicated 8:45AM start time. A tour guide showed up at 8:40AM and approached me and he said oh I’m from a different tour company and he said but Universal Tours is straight down the street and right about 70 buildings and he looked and said oh yeah doesn’t say that anywhere on your information here good luck you’re going to be late. As I headed in the direction he indicated, I passed more than one tour and stopped every single one of them showing them the name of the company. They pointed me down the street this was at number 100 and said all that Universal was at about number 30. I had chosen this tour because it mentioned that it was good for people with limited mobility. I have difficulty walking distances and was dropped off by the taxi at the Eiffel tower itself because that’s where I thought the meeting point was. Also it really is not a tour for people with any kind of limited mobility there was a lot of walking I logged in on my phone it over two miles in total. Also, there are most certainly are stairs although the tour description said that it was a wheelchair accessible tour, giving a different expectation for the accessibility of this tour. The guide I must say was absolutely wonderful he was so kind and nice and other people on the tour who saw I was having trouble walking said “this should be fun for you” as we looked at multiple flights of stairs. Saying the top of the Eiffel tower was a memorable experience and again the guide was very very kind but not for those with limited mobility.
Tour guide was fantastic and very knowledgeable! She was personal and made sure everyone was together and having a good time.
The tower opens at 9:00 am and the elevators at 9:30 am. I thought 8:15 am was a bit early to start. We did a lot of standing around and waiting. Also, the tour was in 3 languages. I think one language would be best. I did appreciate having someone else buy the tickets and figure out were to go.
