Next, we sashay through the historic heart of Paris, from the spirited Place de la Bastille, where revolutionaries once danced, to the elegant Place des Vosges, which is like the living room of Paris, if living rooms were centuries old and unbelievably gorgeous.

Then, off to La Rue des Rosiers, the Marais' bustling backbone, teeming with shops that are as quirky as a French film.
