Sudu was our tour guide and he was brilliant. He gave us a full explanation of the wildlife, especially elephants. He promised to show us the leopard and he did! Not many visitors of the park got to enjoy the sight of leopard as many of them did not seem to want to come out today. But Sudu showed us not one, but three (including a cub).

We had the best time! Our driver Ish did his very best to make our day so fun. The driving was thrilling and the animal spottings were great. Food was really good and I would totally recommend!

Great safari experience in Yala National Park! Sudu was a great and knowledgeable guide and we managed to see almost all the animals on the itinerary, including the leopard a few times.

I must say this tour was amazing! Our guide, Sedu, was friendly, on time and great at explaining what to expect. I also wasn't sure my kids would be able to handle a full day but Sedu did a great job of keeping them interested in the park and wildlife. First we started out by splitting up from the big group of people to somewhere quieter. Already in the first two minutes we saw a wild water buffalo next to a couple of crocodiles and in the tree above were two eagles, all in the same spot. We then clearly knew this guy was a professional. After this we stop at a shady spot to eat a breakfast that our tour guide had prepared himself. We also went off on a bumpy trail to see a peacock with its feathers out which was really beautiful, a family of boar, and a few monitor lizards. After a while of driving through bumpy and fun terrain and watching the animals we eventually stopped under a shady tree next to a herd of elephants playing in the water. For lunch he had prepared a great homemade meal and spread out matts for us at a pavilion. We all enjoyed the lunch, even my kids ages 9 and 12, and the beautiful spot. We rested and relaxed for about an hour (also the time when a lot of animals are resting in the heat of the day). We did another hour or so of safari seeing many beautiful animals. Sedu then cut up a watermelon for all of us to share. Shortly after this, the sun was starting to set and on our way out of the park we saw a wild leopard, it was super cool. overall it was the highlight of our trip and really do recommend to anyone that they go.

Excellent day visiting Yala! We got great value from our full day tour. We saw tons of elephants, water buffalo, mongooses, deer, birds, etc. and even the elusive leopard! Sudu is really passionate and knowledgeable about the wildlife. I love how he protects animal welfare! The provided breakfast, lunch and snacks were great too. Overall, we were so happy with our experience and all the amazing animals we got to see.
