Guide was very knowledgeable and personable. Was already in Oxford so was surprised that guide came with a group of people from London and then proceeded to give a short tour of Oxford. Would have preferred more time in Stratford instead of just 1 hour.

We had a wonderful day on this tour. The group was small and they gave us the option of being picked up at the British Museum which was convenient for us as we were staying close by. It was a full day but we had a great guide and driver and saw many wonderful things. The Cotswolds are beautiful!

This is definitely more expensive than some of the alternative tours. But what we got was a small tour with only 5 guests in an 8-seat minivan. We were able to get to many parts of the Cotswolds that large buses can’t reach. Our tour guides, Chris and David, were also significantly better than the other tour guides we have had in England. They had great local knowledge, were very considerate, and very helpful. They could answer almost any ridiculous question we could throw at them. I recommend this tour for great local flavor and some personalization.

I really wanted to see Oxford, and just sort of took the Cotswolds and Stratford along with the package. As it turned out, we saw a lot, without a lot of terrifying driving. Although I enjoy watching the comedies, I don't consider myself a Shakespeare buff. Despite this I really enjoyed Stratford. It is very picturesque, with more Tudor era and medeviel buildings than most places in England. Seeing Oxford was very satisfying, after having read descriptions of it all my life. I would have been happy to have more time in both places and skipped the Cotswolds stop. Our guide was entertaining and incredibly knowledgable. His pride in Oxford was pretty charming. This is a fairly expensive tour, but the smaller bus really does give you a more personal experience. My only complaint is that they didn't drop us off where they'd picked us up. If I'd known I was going to have to cross town after traveling all day, I would have at least brought my Oyster card.
