The tour was well worth it. From what I read, other tours may or may not be able to get you a ticket to the Arizona Memorial (as it does tend to sell out) but this one included it. If you don't want to lose time in either touring the Missouri or having a photo-op stop at the King Kamehameha statue near the end of your tour, do NOT bring a bag, a purse, even a fanny pack. They (i.e. the military) are very strict about not bringing anything on this tour so if you did, you will need time to make your way to the rental lockers to store, pay, then retrieve your stuff. On the Missouri, you can opt for a guided tour by the onsite staff (highly recommended for the history and to get a sense of the layout of the ship) and you will have a few minutes afterward to wander the ship on your own before you have to grab lunch and head back to the bus. We had time to go up to the bridge (which is not included in the guided tour) and that was it. The meal voucher was for Sliders Bar and Grill where you can get a burger, chips, and a water.... you can have your meal before going on the ship or after, we opted to do it after. The Arizona Memorial is truly humbling. It is really a memorial and not an attraction, and so one has to be very mindful about where they are taking photos and selfies. Someone did that, i.e. stopped to take a selfie in an area where they were supposed to keep moving and was immediately told off by the military personnel on duty. You spend maybe 15 or so minutes on the memorial itself. The tour around the city was good, you get a good sense of Honolulu so you can decide if you want to go to some places on your own later on. Back to what I mentioned earlier, because everyone on the tour were good with being on time, we had to opportunity to stop for a photo-op at the King Kamehameha statue instead of just doing a pass-by. Mike was our guide and he told a lot of funny stories as well as really great context and history. We were in great hands and you will have a good time should you go on this tour.

This tour was so worth the time we took to honor those of the Arizona! We loved going through the Bowfin & the Mighty Mo! The memorials of all the lost submarines was sobering! We enjoyed the aviation & submarine museums. We would do this tour again any time we are in Oahu! My kids & I were here (1991) for the 50th celebration when President Bush came to honor the USS Arizona. My husband loved to Bowfin as it was the sister ship to the sun he served on, USS Sea Fox (now decommissioned). Our driver, Kimoke’o was wonderful! Love his real life stories!! We are so grateful for his narrating!

Moana was a great guide with a good sense of humour while commentating along the commute to Pearl Harbour Memorial, comfortable bus and good lunch. Great for adults and age 10+ kids. May be a long day for younger kids. NO OPAQUE BAGS ALLOWED ON SITE. You can check them in a locker but there can be long line ups to do this.
