This palace is actually the development from Dirah Pool which has been built in 1901 The construction was completed in 1921. In 1937, Taman Ujung Karangasem inaugurated with a marble stele inscribed with the text in Latin and Balinese script and also two languages, Malay and Balinese.[1] It was destroyed almost entirely by the eruption of Mount Agung in 1963 and earthquake in 1975

Day 4: Kintamani volcano full day tour

You can bring your sarong or simply rent one at the entrance. The entrance fee is required and the price list is available in the ticket counter. At the central courtyard, you will find the tourists mingle and some sellers sell snacks or fruits. The purification pools are located at the Jaba Tengah. People believe that holy water can cure various illnesses and bad luck. This place is pretty crowded while the pool is only 20 meters long and five meters wide. Still, Tirta Empul Temple is one of the must-visit places in Bali.

Tegallalang Rice Terraces in Ubud is famous for its beautiful scenes of rice paddies involving the subak (traditional Balinese cooperative irrigation system), which according to history, was passed down by a revered holy man named Rsi Markandeya in the eighth century. Tegallalang forms the three most splendid terraced landscapes in Ubud's shared region, with the others being in the villages of Pejeng and Campuhan. The Tegallalang rice terraces alone offers a scenic outlook that spreads down before you and away to the rice paddies on the slopes across the valley. The high roadside location is cool and breezy and it is a well-known spot for tourists to stop and take photos. Painters and nature lovers also enjoy visiting this spot, and there are numerous art kiosks and cafes near the ledge offering their ware.
