Stop At: Batuan, Batuan, Sukawati, Gianyar Regency, Bali

We will start by visiting Batuan Village for a visit to the traditional Balinese House Compound to learn about the daily activities of the local people on their traditional house compound. Pura Desa & Pura Puseh Batuan is our next visit, it is one of the best opportunities for the visitor get visit the most important courtyard of the local Hindu Balinese Temple. Our tour will be continued by visiting Local Primary School at Desa Batuan. Gets the experience seeing the local Balinese children in their local school activities.

Stop At: Tegalalang Rice Terrace, Jalan Raya Ceking, Tegalalang 80517 Indonesia

Driving you up further to Ceking Village to get a nice view of the rice terraces. It is one of the smallest rice terraces located on our island.

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Gunung Kawi Sebatu Temple, Sebatu, Tegalalang 80511 Indonesia

we then proceed to the Holy Spring Temple. The hidden spring temple that’s located on the bottom of the hill. Water is one of the most important elements of our local Hindu believe, on special occasions such as full moon or new moon, many of Balinese peoples will come to this spring for doing the purification ceremony.

I was met at my hotel by Gede, one of Agus' team, with his driver in an immaculate late model vehicle. I told Gede my interests for the day and he suggested sites that I might be interested in. We visited a village where fabric was made, silver jewelry, paintings, wood art and furniture. At each stop, I was given a brief explanation of their artistic process and offered to browse the shops. I thoroughly enjoyed each place and made purchases at most. I never would have found these places on my own, so I very much appreciated Gede's knowledge and expertise. He also pointed out interesting areas along the drive and suggested additional stops on our route, which made for a wonderful day!

Agus was an excellent guide! He started our trip with a custom day which included picking us up at our AirBnB and ended in a different part of the island at our next hotel. He is very informative, knows many of the people at the different tour spots, was able to work through lines at locations much quicker, and best of all took amazing photos. I am still trying to figure out how he got some of the shots from our trip. On top of that all he had his Uncle drive us around while he joked and pointed out information along the way. Many of the top picture sports that others were waiting in line for paled in comparison to what he set us up on, but even still he was willing to wait in those lines with us if that’s the shot we wanted. I would recommend Agus and his company to anyone out there, first timers like me or experienced Bali travelers. We liked him so much we changed other plans to have him for two more days instead of just one!

Look no further for your guide while you’re in Bali. Seriously, TRUST ME, hire Agus. I couldn’t have dreamt of a better tour guide! From his amazing personality, good energy, and extensive knowledge of the beautiful island, he really is the best of the best. It’s also worth mentioning he’s an incredible photographer! His English is amazing, as well. The places you’ll tour will be gorgeous no matter what, but having a guide like Agus really makes the difference because he explained, in detail, the culture and the history of each place we visited. Experiencing the island isn’t enough without the knowledge to go along with it. His SUV is spotless, comfortable with reclining back seats, and he’s a very good driver. I’d also like to add he knows the land VERY well (which means short cuts to avoid the traffic in heavy tourist areas and more fun for you! Eating at the best restaurants and making friends with locals because Agus knows everyone!) We booked him for three days and then added a fourth because we loved him that much! We were so sad to say goodbye but we’re happy to say we now have a good friend in Bali! We’ll see you next time, Agus! Suksma! Tat tvam asi

There is no way to do Bali without Agus. Highly recommend. Learn and enjoy the local culture through his eyes. Very much the idea of how to find the hidden culture behind the tourism. He knows everyone and everything. Will become your guide and soul guide.

Agus went above and beyond to make our tour in Ubud amazing. The whole day was incredible and his tour was a huge highlight of our honeymoon in Bali. He incorporated activities we requested in advance and then took us to many other places, as we trusted his plan. We went over the general map in the beginning so we could get a preview of the day and if we had any other requests. He really does find non touristy places that are basically empty which made the whole experience so smooth and personal. He is highly knowledgeable and we learned so much about the religion, culture, land and traditions. He is very organized and brought us everything we would need. He supplied many cold water bottles for us. Agus was super friendly, positive and fun. I highly recommend booking a tour with him if you come to Bali alone, as a couple, with family or friends. We had used various other companies for different tours and Agus was BY FAR the best. A bonus was that he took a lot of excellent pictures of us which will be memories we will have for ever.
