An amazing tour from Neil, who guided us around the gardens and memorial, giving us a great insight into life in bomber command. His knowledge and stories really enhanced the visit and it was included in the £3 parking charge! The views are awesome across Lincoln and it’s less then a 10min drive out from the town centre. Would definitely recommend!!

Very interesting, great display, highly recommended, particularly the memorial tour. Not just for history aficionados, everyone should learn about the horrors of war.

The theme of the centre is around remembrance, recognition (including victims of the raids) and reconciliation. We thought the centre hit this spot perfectly. We were lucky enough to be given a tour of the site by Phil Davies. A lovely bloke who is ex RAF and had some wonderful and moving stories to tell. I won’t spoil any stories here, but our visit was made better by our tour and Mr Davies was a wonderful guide. The tour was around 45 mins, the exhibition around an hour. Add 30 or so mins in the great cafe and the whole visit would be around 3 hours.

Well set up and very good for families, although several headsets were not working, which was a shame. We felt that it would be even more authentic to have a mock up of a bomber interior, so that the visitors can see just how cramped it was working in this space. We recently visited the Midland Air Museum by Coventry airport and this was the thing that made the greatest impression for us.
