I was so worried about our planned day out as I’d read such awful reviews, and we were visiting with older boys (11 and 12) so thought there would be nothing for them to do after reading the reviews. However, I need not have been worried. We had a fantastic day out. Yes, it does feel a little pricey at first glance, but we would absolutely pay to go again due to the amount of things available for the kids to do. It was very clean, the staff were so friendly, there were plenty of quieter spaces for my autistic son to chill when he found the busier areas overwhelming. Great day out for all ages.

Despite being expensive (£20 per child fine, but £20 per adult a bit steep when adults just stand around watching kids have fun … maybe a tenner per adult would be more reasonable) it was excellent fun for the kids. Loads to do and the 4D film really good.

It’s ok but I wouldn’t rush to return. My 4 & 2 year old daughters had fun. The build your own cars bit & shooting game were there favourite bits. However, the rides are outdated & underwhelming. There are different ‘zones’ but 90% of the stuff is one big room which feels very crammed & overstimulating. Given that the Lego stores are so well designed - the poor layout is surprising. If your child LOVES Lego it might be worth a visit. Otherwise, skip it and just go to a Lego store.

My seven-year-old was really looking forward to this. Unfortunately, there wasn’t much in there for him to do. He didn’t want to do the rides, which left very little else to do. The main area felt more like a creche environment with children running around and it all needed a good clean. Very few Lego structures around considering this is Legoland discovery centre. Staff were very friendly though. Just a shame the actual content of the place is lacking and needs updating. Go to Windsor instead for the proper experience. I had 2 for 1 voucher so was £19 for us both and even felt that was a rip off
