Shirley the bus driver is asset for the company. She was extremely generous helpful and courteous. She guided us as tourists and ensured we were fine.

We did the Night Tour. We had prebooked our tickets and when we got on found some seats. The tour started and we found we were driving through London with no idea what we were looking at or where we were. We heard others sitting nearby muttering the same. After about 15 minutes of mystery I went downstairs and spotted a bag of headphones beside the driver. No one had told us when we were getting on the bus that we needed to take them to listen to the commentary! Pretty much everyone on the bus were sitting with no headphones as we obviously were not the only ones who weren’t told to take them upon boarding. I had to rip open the bag containing all the headphones to take them out so no one else had any up to that point. The commentary (when we could actually hear it!!) was frankly bizarre. It seemed to mention lesser known spots in the city and just completely ignored the well known ones! For example, the bus drove right over Tower Bridge and right around the Tower of London and they were not so much as mentioned on the commentary. Instead we were subjected to absolute rubbish about the commentator’s godson and how he likes ice cream?! There was a second commentator on the recording also and we had to hear about her job in finance and how she works late to get her bonus. What the hell has that to do with London sightseeing?! Mind boggling. In between stops we were treated to random music blaring away through the headphones. They also need to seriously update the commentary as they’re chatting away about Queen Elizabeth in the present tense!! The bus finally pulled into the final stop abruptly where the driver flashed the lights on and off multiple times which we took as our cue to leave, the tour was over. In case we were in any doubt, he announced over the intercom loudly that this was the “LAST STOP!!”. We gladly got off to put an end to the shambles. Would not recommend this tour. We learned absolutely nothing of interest about London at all but we do know some random bloke’s godson likes ice cream.

The prerecorded commentary did not line up with the location of the bus. Due to this missed out on many aspects. For example, it discussed a fire monument. We went by it about 3 minutes later. This happened most of the tour. someone needs to monitor real time and the recording. Disappointed we did not go by the front of Buckingham Palace. Make sure to grab your headphones as they mentioned nothing of this and people had to get their own. Bus had not been cleaned up since previous rides. Overall, ok tour.

My elderly parents, my daughter and I got separated while looking for the meeting point in Piccadilly Circus. The driver patiently drove to a safe place to stop, Kazi got off the bus, and he helped me locate my parents! Once we found them, he walked with us back to the bus. I have traveled all over the world, rode on multiple tour buses, and have never received such excellent customer service! This was our first Tootbus tour, and we look forward to our next one!!!

The tour description said that Buckingham Palace was along the tour route. We did not see the palace at all. The audio experience did not match the tour stops and there was no explanation for most of the historic sites. I would recommend if you want to see London, find a taxi driver to do a private tour in the evening instead. This was a waste of money and very disappointed that we spent our only evening in the city on this tour.
