Pass By: Pulteney Bridge, Bridge St, Bath BA1 1EE England

Our last stop will be a scenic tour of the historic city of Bath, originally built as a place of well-being and relaxation by the Romans over 2,000 years ago. Home to the country’s only natural thermal hot springs, Bath is a delightful city where the ancient world is intertwined with threads of medieval and more recent Georgian history. Our scenic drive of Bath provides an excellent introduction to the major sights of this beautiful city, including Pulteney Bridge, The Assembly Rooms and The Royal Crescent.

Afterwards, the time is yours to explore this beautiful city at your own pace. Wander its cobbled streets and explore the markets, or choose to visit the famous Roman Baths* and learn all about their history.

Pass By: Royal Crescent, Royal Cresent, Bath BA1 1EE England

The Royal Crescent is a row of 30 terraced houses laid out in a sweeping crescent in the city of Bath, England.

Stop At: The Roman Baths, Abbey Church Yard, Bath BA1 1LZ England

The Roman Baths complex is a site of historical interest in the English city of Bath. It is a well-preserved Roman site once used for public bathing.

The Roman Baths themselves are below the modern street level. There are four main features: the Sacred Spring, the Roman Temple, the Roman Bath House and the museum, holding finds from Roman Bath. The buildings above street level date from the 19th century.

The Baths are a major tourist attraction and, together with the Grand Pump Room, receive more than one million visitors a year. Visitors can tour the baths and museum but cannot enter the water.

(if option selected to include entry to Roman Baths)

Very disappointed with this company when they cancelled the tour. After having booked it months in advance and turning up at the meeting point to be told that it was cancelled. One of the staff showed no sympathy and did not attempt to help and was quite rude. Will not use this or recommend this company again.

Lesley and Maria were fantastic!!! Couldn’t have asked for a better team to take us around. Stonehenge was cool, but definitely should’ve packed an extra layer, scarf, and hat because it was VERY windy. Bath was STUNNING. Wish we could’ve spent more time after the museum to explore the city (and some of the spots Bridgerton was filmed). Be warned - you’ll be spending more time on the road/in traffic than actually at the sites so prepare by packing some small snacks and dressing comfy.

Of course, Stonehenge and Bath were spectacular. If time allowed on our travels, we would have loved spending considerably more time in Bath but this tour was sufficient to see most of their highlights and do a bit of shopping. As we experienced on a number of tours, Evan Evens is a first class operation with modern comfortable coaches, effective audio equipment that didn’t require following the Guide on his heals, and speaking of the Guide, Eugene, his knowledge, enthusiasm and whit made this tour an exceptional experience. Eugene and our driver, who I apologize to for not attempting to spell her name here though she was quite friendly and transported us smoothly despite the intriguingly narrow winding roads, made a wonderful team and where indeed a highlight of the tour itself on par with Stonehenge and Bath themselves!
