Visit: St. Paul's Cathedral, St Paul's Churchyard, London EC4M 8AD England

A cathedral has stood on this site since the year 604 and the current Cathedral is now the fourth to have been built here after the 1666 Great Fire of London destroyed its predecessor. St Paul's is England's place of national celebration and has hosted Royal Weddings such as that of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer in 1981 and Diamond Jubilee celebrations for both Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth II. St Paul's Cathedral is famous for its iconic Dome which you can climb up to three circular viewing points.

With so much to discover about the history, architecture and role of a national Cathedral you'll appreciate the excellent multimedia guides included with your admission. Don’t miss this if you are in London. It was the not beautiful church we went to, and the atmosphere was so reverent and calming, and not packed with tourists like Westminster Abbey. We stayed for the evensong service, and sat in the choir area. We found it strange since we aren’t used to Anglican services, but it was definitely interesting. The whispering gallery was beautiful and the view from the dome was amazing, but not for people who get claustrophobic or who fear heights. The climb up is very narrow and steep.

Stunning !!! The 529 step climb to the top is worth it as the views are incredible over London and amazing to climb inside the dome Space is limited though and of course you must be ok with heights The cathedral is a master piece with so much heritage Excellent gift shop I would highly recommend booking on line to avoid the queues

The ceilings are amazing, so much to see. The views from the top, the Golden Gallery, are great. It is quite high, up a lot of steps including a metal spiral staircase. Fortunately, the top sections are one way. This was much scarier than the London Eye, if you don't like heights. The cafe was only serving drinks and cake, when we went in the afternoon, however it was very nice cake.

Beautiful cathedral. Make sure you go up into that dome and check out the whisper gallery. There is also a cafe in the crypt.

Our visit to St. Paul's Cathedral left us in awe of its majestic scale and exquisite craftsmanship. The interior's refined details, from the intricate mosaics to the grand dome, were awe-inspiring. Whether admiring the architecture or reflecting in a quieter corner, St. Paul's exudes a sense of both history and grandeur. It's a London landmark that offers a splendid experience for the whole family.
