Excellent and epic drive into the country, with a look at Greenwich on the way. Very comfortable vehicle, well driven by our guide Eddie. Door to door. Eddie was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. He arranged a great restaurant for lunch and headed us in the right direction at each of our stops. Leeds Castle should be on everyone’s list. And the rainbow from France to Dover’ white cliffs, maybe not entirely Eddie’s doing, capped off a memorable day. Thoroughly recommend.

We booked this private tour thru London Country Tours (David Stubbs) and I would highly recommend this to anyone. The driver/tour guide (Peter) was excellent and adapted our trip route and time at each location to suit our desires. Be prepared for a history lesson as we found out Peter was a history teacher which enriched the experience. The countryside drive was just as enjoyable as the locations visited. If you have 4+ people, a private London Country Tours is the way to go as the cost becomes more economical vs. paying a per person rate with a group tour operator and it is far more flexible in terms of spending time at your preferred locations. We were picked up and dropped off at our London Airbnb.

This was an amazing tour! David picked us up from our hotel in London and we headed off to Leeds Castle (which is beautiful!). After our visit there, we stopped in Canterbury to visit the cathedral and finally, the White Cliffs of Dover. While it was a long day, I think the tour was planned really well and we got to spend enough time at each stop. But the main highlight is David, he's so much fun to talk to and full of really great information - he even gave us recommendations for other places to visit in London during our stay. All in all, I highly recommend touring with David and London Country Tours!

Steve, our driver/guide was great. Very knowledgeable and provided all necessary information and kept the day interesting. I highly recommend his services. The sights were OK but nit necessarily spectacular. We did get a bonus stop at the zero meridian wich was a great treat. Leeds Castle was a bit underwhelming as we have seen better elsewhere in Europe but the story about Henry the VIII was enlightening. Canterbury was historically significant but again underwhelming as we have seen much better cathedrals elsewhere. The white cliffs of Dover were a sight to see for sure and Steve made it easy for us to get a number of views. We got everything we bargy for so I would recommend this tour.

We booked this tour thinking we were paying for everything that was listed. Whilst the tour guide was very nice, he was not even from the UK & only lived here for 8 years. He was not an ex history teacher and did not drive in a brand new comfortable mini van. This trip was a huge disappointment and waste of a lot money. I would not recommend this trip to anyone and think it would probably be much cheaper taking a taxi.
