Overview

No matter how much a tour guide knows about a particular subject, one of the hardest things to do is to explain our past in a way that is both entertaining and memorable.

Whether you are retired and have a lot knowledge about British history or you are a family with children, we guarantee you will leave this tour fascinated to learn more about this magnificent country.

Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Stonehenge, Amesbury SP4 7DE England

Our first stop on this tour is Stonehenge. We pride ourselves on being one of the first groups to arrive at the stones, avoiding the busy crowds and big bus tours. As we travel down from London, Oz will bring this magnificent monument to life as we explore all the myths, legends and facts about Stonehenge. Who built it... how did they build it... and why did they build it? Escorting you around the stones, you will truly be a master of Stonehenge after your morning visit.

Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: The Roman Baths, Abbey Church Yard, Bath BA1 1LZ England

Just an hour away from Stonehenge, we arrive in the beautiful city of Bath for time to visit the Roman Baths Museum and Bath Abbey.

Bath's Roman ruins alongside it's Georgian architechture make it one of the few cities in the world that is a World Heritage Sight.

When we depart the city Oz will drive to the northern part of the city to show the magnificent designs of John Wood Senior & Jr, included The Queen's Square, Circus and Royal Crescent.

Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Lacock Abbey High Street, Lacock SN15 2LG England

Our final stop of the day brings us to the cute little village of Lacock. In the heart of the Wiltshire Cotswolds, you will get to enjoy the scenic drive and learn about how the sheep trade once funded an entire area spanning 800 square miles.

Villages in this area suffered from advances in textiles and transport throughout the 18th Century, leaving us today with picturesque streets that are often used for film sets.

Downton Abbey, Harry Potter and Pride and Prejudice are just a few of the popular series/movies that have been filmed in this idyllic location.

This was a great tour. Our guide Will was superb from start to finish. Pickup was punctual and we got to Stonehenge just before the crowds arrived which was a huge bonus for us. Bath is a really cool place unlike any other city we've seen, not to mention that I'm a huge Brigerton fan and we got to see where that was filmed. We ended the day seeing the cutest little village and got some great photos. Thanks Will!

Me and my husband came to the UK for a couple weeks to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. We wanted to catch the sights and boy did we get that and a whole lot more besides. A friend told us about the great time they had with Prestige so we decided to give it a go. Everything about our day out was perfect from the awesome service and really smart and funny guide to the beauty of the scenery. We have been telling all our friends about it since we got home and if we ever make it back to England we’ll surely take another Prestige tour. Thank yall so much to the prestige gals and guys.

We had a fantastic day with Oz. He got us to Stonehenge via some back roads that are too small for the big buses and avoided the long line of vehicles. Stonehenge, Bath, and Castle Combe were all excellent by themselves, and Oz added a lot of color to the experience. He obviously is passionate about the history of this area, and his knowledge and enthusiasm really brought it all to life.
