Then, head into central London’s West End in the early evening and settle into your seat at the theatre to enjoy the 2.5-hour show. Standard priced seats tend to be located in the rear stalls at stage level, whereas the top priced seats offer panoramic views. When the curtains rise, watch young Mathilda Wormwood live on stage and see the clever ways she deals with the terrifying Miss Trunchbull. With rave reviews from critics across London, the theatre adaptation of Roald Dahl’s classic book is a sure fire hit for kids and adults alike! If you can catch this show, definitely do! It was a very magical experience for all four in our family of two adults, a teenage boy and an 11 year old girl. The show is packed with startling moments. The acting is extraordinary, the music and musical performances are perfection, the make up and costumes a delight. Expect the actual theater to become part of the show. The lighting and scenery make it all come together with outstanding precision. This musical brings Roald Dahl’s beautiful story to life in the most inspirational way. It well deserves all the awards and accolades.

It was my first musical experience and I loved it! Although, I have found a seat at the upper corner, I had an amazing view of the stage. Performers are so professional and plot was so attractive. Characters are so well groomed 🙏🏼

Not a Ronald Dahl fan, wife is so we went. I agree with other comments that there are some audio issues. But overall I thought it was very entertaining, and in this day and age, refreshingly a little un PC👏👏👏. The young actor playing Mathilda was amazing.

I saw Matilda with my 11 year old daughter yesterday and thought it was utterly brilliant! The cast were totally amazing we loved Matilda and Miss Trunchbull in particular. The set was extremely clever and probably one of the best I’ve seen in the west end. We sat in the dress circle which I was a little wary of as I usually only sit in the stalls but the view was very good and probably better than the stalls actually. There was a slight mix up made purely by the ticket agent and not the theatre. However I wanted to say thank you to the theatre staff from the very nice man who took us back to the ticket office and the guy at the ticket office who handled the problem quickly and without fuss. You were both very kind - thank you! Brilliant show and exceptional staff!
