In Spring 2019. ‘Room on the Broom - A Magical Journey’, brings to life yet another of author Julia Donaldson and illustrator Axel Scheffler’s much-loved children’s stories, following in the footsteps of the Resort’s Gruffalo River Ride Adventure. In Land of the Tiger, Tiger Rock is where you get a unique view of our majestic Amur Tigers, before descending a misty waterfall drop, right through the centre of a giant tiger's head carved into the imposing rock. Went to Chessington Theme Park during the Easter break. Upon arrival, we were dismayed to find that four major rides were already out of operation. Throughout the day, despite utilizing the Reserves & Ride system to mitigate queue times, we found ourselves unable to experience many rides due to their continual breakdowns. Despite seeking information from park staff regarding the status of the rides, we were met with uncertainty and inability to provide concrete updates. In some instances, rides were even reported to have customers trapped within them, further highlighting the severity of the operational issues faced by the park. The scale of the park compounded our frustration, as we were forced to repeatedly traverse the grounds in the hope that rides would resume operation at some point during the day. Regrettably, this was not the case, and we left the park exhausted and disheartened, having missed out on numerous attractions that we had looked forward to experiencing. I wrote a complain letter to their department. In the end they only managed to suggest a 50% refund of the Reserves & Ride for the 3 of us, to be utilised within the year. I understand all park tickets are non-refundable and non transferable. However they insisted that this is the final offer, basically take it or leave it. Should I wish to decline this offer they are not in a position to assist me further and would ask that I instruct my legal representation to contact their legal team via the following email address: [email protected]. Our family drove 2 hours to the park and spent GBP 250 for a day visit - Park tickets, Reserve & Ride, Car park fees and food etc. In the end it's just a day ended up queuing and waiting for the rides to reopen and reoperate. I am not going to take up their offer nor going to pursue further on this matter. Such arrogant attitude and response from their side is enough to put me and my family off. What a total disgrace.

Absolutely awful!! The ride availability was appalling most rides closed. Spoke to Luke in management who claimed it was a super off peak day, when I said they don’t charge off peak prices he said there was nothing he could do! literally nearly every ride was closed. Other Merlin parks have there rides open regardless of the day chessington want to make you queue for hours or on days where it’s not busy there’s no rides don’t bother replying to this with your standard copy and paste rubbish I will be complaining to merlin as well

I will admit the quality of the park has really improved it is really obvious they have spent money on painting some of the decorative elements in the park. But the thing is I went to the park today without bringing any lunch as a vegetarian presuming that I could be able to find at least one vegetarian meal in the park as I have never not been able to find a meal when I normally go out and I found absolutely nothing… I was very hungry and settled for some chips but it kind of sucked 🤣 Granted loads of food venues were closed today but there was still at least 4 venues I looked at the menu for and found no meals. My advice for anyone who likes to avoid eating meat bring your own lunch!! Also queue times were kind of bad today on dragons fury there was only about two people going into the carts because the ride operators were not instructing people to go in (they were busy) it felt like a member of staff was missing to tell people to go in/ out/ put bags away etc cus the ride kept stopping as people were bringing bags in with them which had to be left behind resulting in a queue that was constantly long compared to others in the park.
