Overview

Departing from Paris, you will be driven to Port of Calais and arrive in Port of Dover by crossing the English Channel. You will continue the journey to London, starting a walking tour passing through the main attractions including: Big Ben, House of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, 10 Downing Street, Whitehall, St James’ Park, Buckingham Palace and River Thames. 

After leaving London, our coach will bring you to the nation's acclaimed educational institution: Cambridge University to experience the strong academic atmosphere. Then you will proceed the journey to York by visiting York Minster and York city walls. Next places for you to visit will be Edinburgh, Lake District, Manchester, Stratford-upon-Avon, Bicester Village. At the end of the journey, you will be driven back to Paris.

In the early morning, you start a tour of London attractions: Big Ben, House of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, 10 Downing Street, Whitehall, St James’ Park, Buckingham Palace and River Thame

After breakfast, it is time to visit the nation’s acclaimed educational institution: Cambridge University. In addition to a strong academic atmosphere, Cambridge is where many luminaries started their dreams and hopes for the future with the sight of the pastoral landscapes, picturesque rivers and architecture. The University of Cambridge, a majestic old group of buildings including King’s College and Queens College, set among the most rural of bridges. When come to Cambridge, sincerely recommend a trip to "Cambridge Penny", which is carried by a boat with a long pole (part-timejob of many college students) to carry people up the river Cambridge

Day 3: [Monday] York → Edinburgh (326 km)

Stop At: York Minster, Minster Yard Deangate, York YO1 7HH England
We proceed our journey to York, a true medieval melting pot of Roman, Saxon and Viking culture. The city is mostly intact from the middle ages and shows the rustic side of Britain. We visit York Minster, the largest Gothic cathedral in northern Europe. Then we will step up onto York city walls, dating back to Roman times. For those keen to discover the little grass-roots shops, there will be time to wander around.

Day 4: [Tuesday] Edinburgh → Glasgow (75 km)

Stop At: Edinburgh Castle, Castlehill, Edinburgh EH1 2NG Scotland
After leaving York, Edinburgh is next on our places to visit. We are expected to arrive in Edinburgh in the afternoon. Edinburgh is Scotland’s compact, hilly capital. It represents the best in Scottish heritage. Wooden barrows of gold single malt whiskey, checked kilts and Scottish bagpipes will make you grow fond of this warm and lively nation of quirky characters. Upon arrival, we first visit Edinburgh Castle, set on the stunning view of volcanic rock structures, where once inside we will admire the oldest royal crown and jewelry.

Stop At: Palace of Holyroodhouse, Canongate, Edinburgh EH8 8DX Scotland
We then continue this royal trail with a visit to Holyrood Palace and the City Hall. Optional is a visit to JK Rowling’s Ivory Café where Harry Potter was authored, to enjoy a cup of coffee. After enjoying in Edinburgh, coach will proceed to the hotel directly.

Day 5: [Wednesday] Glasgow → Glenfinnan Viaduct → Fort Augustus (Loch Ness Lake) → Loch Lomond →Glasgow (498 km)

Today we enjoy Scotland to the fullest. We head to the Glenfinnan Viaduct. The Hogwarts train was made iconic by the protagonist of the movie Harry Potter, they passed through this bridge, which was built between 1897 and 1901. In summer, steam trains can be seen passing by. It is one of the must-see attractions for Harry Potter fans, and also on the Schottish £10 banknote.

Then visit the town with the same name as the ancient Roman emperor Augustus; Fort Augustus. The town is located at the southernmost tip of Loch Ness, with a very picturesque scenery. The Loch Ness Monster is Scotland's oldest and enduring myth and legend, people can take a boat tour at Loch Ness to discover the truth of the Loch Ness Monster.

After that we continue our journey to Lake District. The Lake District National Park is the most visited national park in the United Kingdom. You can choose our optional to join boat cruise of Lake Windermere, or hop off to the World of Beatrix Potter Attraction.

From then onwards we are driving to Manchester, a fashionable, social buzz and dynamic city. This city is not only well-known for being a city of sport, the headquarters of Manchester United, but also England’s most productive industrial city. Football fans can enjoy a pilgrimage to the Manchester United Old Trafford grounds or catch a training game. Food lovers can pick a scrumptious restaurant in the Chinatown.

Je suis partie faire un circuit avec l agence salaun holidays basée À pont du buis en Bretagne. Voyage horrible ! Agence nulle ! Je déconseille fortement de voyager avec eux ! Ils sont nuls ! Prix du voyage exhorbitant et prestations nulles.. Et ça se pretend voyage haut de gamme ! Honteux ! Repas dans des bistrots de rues à des prix très bas.. Hôtels sales et de basses qualités.. Autobus en panne tout le temps ce qui nous a fait perdre du temps. Tous les sites intéressants on n a pas pu les voir. Guide minable tout le temps sur son portable.. Pas du tout concerné par sa responsabilité des voyageurs... J ai fait une réclamation et j attends encore leur réponse ! Incroyable de voir le laxisme et le "je m en fous" de ses gens ! Fuyez cette agence et toutes celles en France ! Je me suis adressée à l agence de libourne près de Bordeaux et tout le monde s en fout aussi !

Voyage très complet mais pas du tout optimisé. Beaucoup trop de route et de déplacements inutiles parce que les hôtels étaient mal placés . Du coup pas assez de temps consacré aux visites . La journée dans lles highlands n’a pas été interessante car trop de temps passé sur la route et trop peu en visites . Il aurait fallu la faire sur 2 jours en dormant la bas, et en partant d’Édimbourg et non de Glasgow . Nous avons passé 3 nuits à Glasgow ce qui n’était avbsolument pas central pour nos visites . De surcroît notre guide était nul : explications et informations réduites à leur minimum . Impossible de poser des questions qui ne faisaient pas partie de sa préparation la qualité du tour dépendant à 50 % de la qualité du guide, vous pouvez en déduire notre niveau de satisfaction
