Stop At: The Little Amazon, Thailand

Get picked up from your hotel in Khao Lak before heading north. Enjoy some sightseeing along the way and arrive at Takuapa District. Set off in a canoe rowed by the local crew in the Little Amazon.
Sail through the swamp forest, surrounded by hundred-year-old banyan trees and mangrove forests. Keep an eye out for reptiles and various birds on the canoe trip also.

Go on a scenic drive through beautiful scenery to the Elephant Sanctuary. Meet your Eco English-speaking guide and learn with observe a little about the elephants.

Was amazing great tour guide. Loved the private tour. Tony and sprite were lovely and very informative thank you guys. We drank local coffee, ate local foods from a road market. saw the tsunami museum very interesting but sad, we had lunch there which was fresh and hot. Perfect ladies. And the best was feeding the elephants and watering them. Could watch them for ages. Very interesting animals. Thank you guys. Xx

Die Elefanten werden gut gehalten Leider machen sie den ganzen Tag touribespaßung. Laufen vom füttern zum Wasser hin und her. Es sind 3 Elefanten. Wären es mehr könnten sie es sich besser aufteilen die Einnahmen zu gewährleisten Aber es geht ihnen gut. Welten besser als als Arbeitstier. Tolle Anlage Das Mittagessen wsr der Wahnsinn Was nicht in der Beschreibung steht, dass man auxh ein Tsunamimuseum anschaut. Nett gemeint, aber das war nicht geplant und auch für unsere Kinder Nichts... Der kleine Amazonas ist nur eine touristische Falle. Man bekommt gepaddelt paar Meter hin und zurück. Schöne Natur aber so stelle ich mir dss nicht vor. Wollten selber paddeln und keine touriabfertigung Schade die Beschreibung klang toll und war ganz anders.

Wunderbares Erlebnis, der Guide (Tonga?) war sehr freundlich und hatte viele gute Antworten! Tour war gut organisiert, immer pünktlich. Es war für alles ausreichend gesorgt- auch genug Zeit für die Touren.
