You may choose from a variety of activities on your private boat tours. All activities and gear are included in the price. Activities include snorkeling at the coral reef where you will see an abundance of tropical fish and beautiful coral, kayaking through and around the lush mangroves , paddle boarding over the clear calm waters at a tropical sandbar, Take in some near shore family fishing, take your time and explore or just sit and lounge at a beautiful tropical sandbar, or just back and relax and do some sightseeing.

    Every aspect of our experience with Native Sun and Captain Tim was exceptional. There were so many different operators to choose from, but I was drawn to others' reviews that mentioned Captain Tim's patience, flexibility, and knowledge of the area. He delivered in every way possible! Captain Tim customized a morning expedition including snorkeling, hanging out at the sandbar, and paddling around nearby mangroves in his supplied kayaks. He knew exactly where to go so we would have the best experience, see the most fish, and make the most of our four hours together. Here are some notes that might help you plan: - Captain Tim has just about everything covered: sealed coolers so you can take your beverages and snacks with you on kayaks, snorkeling equipment, and even a football to throw around at the sandbar! - The boat has a nice spot in the front to sit out in the sun as well as a shaded area in the back if you need a break. - Captain Tim pays very close attention to the safety of you and your family. We had two 8 year-olds along with our teenagers with us, and I felt like he was constantly watching to make sure everyone was safe while having a good time. - Captain Tim even helped me figure out the best day for our trip as the weather can heavily influence where you go and what you can do. - Go with the four hour tour. We got to the end of three hours and were so glad we had another hour left. It still went by so fast! For us, this expedition was the highlight of our trip. Thanks Captain Tim and can't wait to see you again.

    Captain Tim was terrific. We were running a bit late and he reassured us we will have plenty of time on the water. He got our teens fishing in no time, then took us to the sand bar for some kayaking and swimming. Will use again next year!!

    Our group had an amazing day out on the water with Captain Tim! We were immediately greeted with hospitality at the marina, and our group of six was very comfortable on-board. We loved the ability to customize our half-day trip, as we chose to do a few hours of snorkeling on the nearby reef in addition to a trip to the sandbars. The trip to both was short and comfortable, and our expectations were exceeded with both experiences! The first stop was the reef for snorkeling, and Captain Tim put us right on the fish! We saw numerous species of fish, coral, and other marine life, as Captain Tim gave us the freedom to explore the area. Afterwards, we took a quick cruise over to the local sandbar, where we used his provided paddle-board and kayaks to make a short trek from the boat to the sandbar. Our group had a great time relaxing at the sandbar and even had the chance to see horseshoe crabs, conch, and lobster in their natural habitat! All in all, we had an action-packed day thanks to Captain Tim, and would recommend this experience to any group!

    Definitely recommend going with your family. Highlight of our trip in the Keys. Responsible and respectful Captain. Would go again! We saw sharks, manatees, tarpon, dolphins, caught fish and kayaked around sunken ships and thru the mangrove.

    Captain Tim is an amazing host. From the second we booked, his communication was prompt and proactive. We had a beautiful day on the water. The wind kept us off the sandbar, but he called us the day before and had a wonderful back up plan in place. Kayaking through the mangroves and a day of swimming while the Top Gun pilots trained overhead does the soul good. You will not regret choosing Native Sun charters!
