Kadikoy Street Food Tour begins in Istanbul’s Old City. There, we meet to begin our tour in the heart of Eminönü, before we cross the Bosphorus together.

Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: KadIkoy CarsIsI, Caferaga, Neset Omer Sk. No:1 Kadıköy, Istanbul 34710 Turkiye

You’ll first explore the bustling Kadıköy market, home to some of the oldest restaurants and establishments in the area. During your journey, you will sample some of Istanbul’s most popular street foods including midye dolma, kokoreç and crispy pide.

You’ll then leave the colourful Kadıköy market streets behind and sit down to savour the syrupy goodness of one of Istanbul’s oldest and most delicious baklavas. You’ll continue your twilight walk toward the district of Moda to finish your tour with classic Turkish goat’s milk dondurma, from one of Turkey’s most-loved producers.

Really enjoyed the tour. Lots of information about Turkish food and we got to taste lots of it. I don't eat meat but changes to cater for me were made when possible so I didn't miss out. Bahri was a very good guide and it was a pleasure to chat with him. It was fun to see a different area of Istanbul.

This tour is amazing. Ali was the best guide, we had breakfast in a small tea house which was fabulous, and everything that went on from there was interesting and informative. This is not only a food tour however, it also takes you through parts of Istanbul you may not get to see. My only disappointment was that I was not well, so could not partake of all the amazing food.

We had an absolutely amazing time! Tuğçe, was our foodie guide- she was full of energy, engaging and it was evident how passionate she was about her culture and history. We enjoyed all of the food and would definitely recommend.

We did the Kadıköy Street Food Tour with Leyla. There were 4 of us on the tour and we got to sample a lot of the great food on the Asian side of Istanbul. Our amazing guide Leyla was happy to share her culture and showed us some great places we will return to. Highly recommended!
