Bottom line: AVOID this company This just happened this morning. I was excited to wake up early, get dressed up in a suit, and take advantage of the beautiful empty streets of Istanbul. I also left them a message 30 minutes beforehand (through La Vacanza Travel). No responses to anything even as I write this. I got to the meeting point (Blue Mosque) at 7am (my scheduled reservation) and waited for 30 minutes giving this photographer the benefit of the doubt. I even contacted La Vacanza Travel who tried to call this company (La Vacanza Travel said their phone line was busy and couldn’t reach them). With my precious limited time here wasted I had no choice but to give up. At least there was a nice cat that kept me company and the scenery was beautiful. Do yourself a favor and save your precious time, energy, and good will by booking with someone else!

My husband and I decided to do a couples photo shoot while on our honeymoon since our wedding was online. We wanted to have some photos to capture the feel of Istanbul while celebrating our union. We had Ramazan as our photographer and he was perfect! Our session got off to a bumpy start as we were in a car accident right before we were supposed to meet him at our first spot. He was incredibly kind and offered to reschedule if we needed to. We decided to go along with the shoot and I’m so glad we did. He was very communicative and offered some great ideas for poses and movement at the different locations. He was also incredibly patient, and very supportive as we were a bit sore from the accident and took things at a bit of a more measured pace. I never felt rushed and I cannot stress the absolute pleasure it was to work with him. We feel that he really captured us and some of the breathtaking beauty of Istanbul. For our locations, we chose to do sunrise at the Ortaköy Mosque, then we took some photos on the Galata Bridge, and we ended in Sultan Ahmet Park.

I booked a photoshoot specifically for 7am because I was on a time crunch, and the listing says that we "need to start early in the morning". I got a text from my photographer the night before asking to do the photoshoot at 11am instead, which completely messed up my timeline. He agreed to do it at 10am, which was again 3 hours later than when I needed it done, but whatever. I paid for a photo shoot at multiple locations, and the photographer said I could only get photos near the Hagia Sophia, and he was willing to offer me photos at Seven Hills when it was already part of my package. I did not have any photos taken at any of the other locations mentioned in the listing. I received the raw files in a relatively timely manner, but It's been about 3 weeks, and I haven't received my edits. The photographer told me he emailed them and has proceeded to ignore me every time I message him saying I didn't receive them.

I booked my experience and asked about a makeup artist. She was AMAZING. She even caught that it would be dark at 7 and suggested the photo shoot be moved to 8 am. The owner agreed with her recommendation. Everything was fine and professional until the day of my shoot. In the advert it says German fountain, blue mosque, Bosporus bridge, location of choice and a few other locations free. That rooftops would be extra. It also says you will get over 400 raw photos of which you need to select 25 for editing. My photographer was 26 minutes late. I was not taken to all the locations, I only received 171 raw photos. When I brought this to the owner attention the photographer reached out to me saying we can meet and finish the shoot for free. What do you mean for free? I already paid for it. I also paid to have my makeup done so I would have to pay again to do my makeup for this issue? Also, they wanted me to rearrange my itinerary to meet again. I am in talks with the owner about this situation and hope this will be resolved.

We had the pleasure of booking a shoot with Recep at the beginning of October, after finding him through Instagram! His work was incredible and we were so excited for our family shoot! We had our shoot at Ortakoy, Taht, and seven hills, and were blown away by the results. He was so patient (huge plus with a baby!!) and incredibly helpful with making sure we were posing correctly to get the best shots! I was extremely pleased with the final edited shots (and to be honest even the originals were just phenomenal!!!!), I wish he could come on all our vacations to capture the beauty!!!
