We did 2 different tours with Ali and Himde. They were both wonderful. Ali and Hamide were patient as our group was running late, they kindly adjusted the tour to fit our schedule. They were both very knowledgeable on the history of Turkey and shared so much information with us. After the tours, they made sure everyone knew where they were going and were safe. I cannot recommend a tour with them enough! They are caring, friendly, patient and made everyone feel so welcome in Istanbul! Thank you!

Thanks to Ali for organising our 3 day tour, broken up over a week with ‘Ultimate Istanbul tours.’ Thanks VERY much to our guide Ozlem, who took us to a variety of different mosques, but also has a breathtaking encyclopaediac knowledge of the long history of so many mosques and how these all fit in with the past civilisations. The tour of the underground cisterns built during the Roman Empire - fascinating. She knows the backstreets of the city the culture and customs of Istanbul and Turkey with great insight, making our 3 days in Istanbul a venture and journey! So good, so kind and so passionate, in her imparting of her knowledge about Istanbul and all its ancient religious institutions, buildings, neighbourhoods, communities and food. Both Kim and I could not have asked for more. Loved our conversations with Ozme and the tour of Hagia Sophia was incredibly interesting as she brought it to life through the centuries explaining the importance it was, not only to her, but all the peoples of Turkey and the wider world community. I loved her passion and commitment she brought to her work, life, family, community and country. She is a great ambassador for Istanbul tourism and her country. Highly recommend Ultimate Istanbul. Thanks v much, Philip and Kim.

I had the most fabulous experience on the 1-Day Private Port Tour from Istanbul Galata Port, and I recommend it to everyone! Our tour guide, Hamide, was not only friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable and deeply passionate about her country. She captivated us with fascinating historical insights at every site we visited and even shared valuable shopping tips for exploring the city. One of the major perks was skipping the long lines at the Basilica Cistern Museum and Topkapı Palace. Thanks to Hamide's expertise, we were able to make the most of our time without the hassle of waiting in queues. Moreover, the local food recommendations from Hamide were a true delight. Every bite was a culinary adventure, and it was worth every penny. To top it all off, Hamide ensured that we returned to the cruise port in perfect timing, allowing us to enjoy the entire day without any worries. I can't emphasize enough how much I recommend this tour to anyone visiting Istanbul. It was an unforgettable experience filled with rich history, delicious food, and impeccable service.
