the tour was so much more than just vegetarian food! the highlight for us was definitely the tofu stop, so crisby and flavourful, we would never have discovered this little local place if it was not for Amy, apart from that we also visited fortune tellers and a pretty Chinese Garden, was great to see different neighborhoods throughout Hong Kong

Absolutely amazing and memorable experience! Our tour started off with a peacefull stroll through Nan Lian Garden. The place exudes beauty and tranquility. This was followed by an incredibly satisfying vegetarian/vegan lunch in Tai Po. My folks who can be quite particular about their food choices were delighted with the options available at Green Hub. However, what set this tour apart was not just the places we went to but our guide, Amy. Its a no brainer that shes a HK culture buff and is dedicated to ensuring that you have an exceptional experience. She even went out of her way and took us to Mirs bay so we could get a peek of the mainland from HK. If you have a couple of hours to spare and are looking for an enjoyable family outing, this tour is a must try. Thank you HK Greeters and Amy!

We did the veggie food tour last week and couldn’t recommend it more highly. Amy is a really knowledgeable guide and is very friendly and easy to get along with. She creates a relaxed environment and is very flexible to allow the tour to move at your own pace. She has lots of recommendations but again gives options so you can tailor the experience to your own needs. This is the second tour we have done with her and both have been excellent. Would highly recommend!!

I took the vegetarian and vegan food and cultural tour with Hong Kong Greeters in August 2019. This tour was well suited for our interests in learning more about the history and culture about Hong Kong while layering in food experiences. William, our tour guide was kind, knowledgeable and an excellent companion/advisor during our tour of Wong Tai Sin, Nan Lian gardens and Tai Po areas. His love for Hong Kong was evident through his meticulous explanation of the background of the sites that we visited. With limited time in Hong Kong we might’ve never visited the new Territories without this tour. My only less than positive feedback, and one that the tour organizers have no control over, was the cuisine at the Eat Well canteen at the site of Old Tai Po police station. Vegan/healthy food does not have to mean lack of seasoning in their food preparation. While the food was super fresh tasting, it could’ve definitely used more seasoning. The dim sum after Wong Tai Sin temple and the amazing vegan ice cream at Nan Lian gardens were very memorable. William was kind enough to advise on bus/train options to get to our next tourist destinations after the tour, which I greatly appreciate. I wish him all the best.

I'd strongly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Hong Kong. The food was delicious and offered great variety. The tour was superb, and it gave us an opportunity to go to ghe New Territories, which was great. Perhaps the biggest highlight was our tour guide, William, who was brilliant!
