Very difficult to find. You have to walk from where the taxi drips you off. No signage. Very difficult to board the cruise ship as no safe access for people in their 70s. No suggestion of access issues in the advert. The commentary was clear but fixed in time so some sights were missed because of yacht moored in the way. Very limited English spoken on board. Not much of interest on the cruise. Access to the Houseboat/Museum equally dangerous. VERY over priced. £125 for a 30 minute cruise for 2 people. No drinks/snacks served on board. The lunch was a 5 minute walk to a questionable restaurant. The name on the door was not the same as we were directed to with a totally inadequate map. The smell was awful and we did not stay.

Went along with my wife and son, was concerned about motion sickness for my wife but the ferry and boat are both super calm as it's in a canal so it's really sheltered so that was great. The experience itself is well worth the money, it's a real contrast! You'll see a fishing boat no bigger than 3.5m parked up near a yacht that must be over 30m long. You learn about the history of the bay and how it has developed over time and eventually end up at a souvenir shop with ability to have a meal (if you went with this option) and a cold drink can be purchased. Our guide Amy was amazing. She grew up in a fishing family and lived on a boat! So she had some genuine and interesting stories to share. Clearly the right person for the job.

Aberdeen 1773 tour was eye-opening! From traditional boat rides to educational at Pier 6, there's so much to see and learn. The boat noodles are a must-try. Great for those curious about Hong Kong's fisherfolk culture.

This was such a lovely way to spend a few hours. We were lucky enough to be the only ones on the boat. The fish market was in full swing so we were able to browse around there before we started the cruise. Fascinating. Interesting being able to go on board a traditional fishing houseboat.
