This tour proves that it’s better to take a private tour. I enjoyed going to Bethlehem and seeing the nativity. I was very disappointed in the lunch option. I think the tour should offer different options. In addition, I was not happy about the logistics of Jerusalem. This tour focused 60 percent on shopping and NOT enough time seeing historic spots with enough time. We wasted so much time at jewelry and local stores that at the end we did it have the dedicated time to see the crucifixion and tomb of Jesus. I was highly disappointed. I think shopping should be reserved for end of the tour if there is time. This tour should be design to see historic sites. I also feel that the tour guide can have less dialogue describing building structures to give us MORE time to visit them. I recommend taking a private tour guide or look for a tour that didn’t involve a coach bus.

Well organised, and with excellent guide. Recommended. Separating the history from myths which have developed over 2000 years was challenging, but the provenance of the Church of the Nativity was compelling.
