We had a wonderful couple of days in Goreme, staying at the lovely Kelebek Cave Hotel. One of the highlights of our trip was the Balloon ride with Captain Ali Elma from Turquaz Balloons. Also a wonderful day out with our guide Kadir, who was very informative and friendly. I would recommend Kelebek Hotel and these tours as excellent.

It was one of the most serene and awe-inspiring things we have ever done. We flew with Turquaz Balloons through Kelebek Special Cave Hotel. The entire morning was perfect- from easy and attentive arrangements made through Kelebek, pick up, delightful coffee and breakfast- it was all smooth and delightful. The real delight was flying with Abdullah Güney, our pilot. Well-timed jokes, clear instructions were mixed with knowledgeable responses to any questions about the region or balloon industry. And for anyone concerned about safety, I felt like I was perfectly safe and sound in Abdullah’s care. The man literally soft landed the balloon on the back of a trailer. We barely felt a jolt. We thought we had won the prize with Abdullah, but little did we know that his brilliant wife, Tugba, would outshine him as our tour guide for the rest of the day. I will leave a separate review for Tugba, because she deserves it. But the Güney family is incredible. Definitely request Abdullah and Tugba for your pilot/tour guide. You won’t be disappointed.

Todo fue estupendo. Desde la recogida en el hotel, el desayuno ofrecido antes de ir al globo, el viaje en globo y la fiesta de entrega de certificados.
