Monet's gardens & house tour was a highlight of our trip! Can't say enough good things about our guide, Ricardo. He is super knowledgeable on both art history & history. We learned about Monet's family life & his relationships with other impressionists. Very importantly, we arrived just as the garden opened so we could appreciate the garden in quiet & see the art on the walls of the house up close without the crowds that came a few minutes later. The ride back to Paris was almost as fun as the tour of Monet's garden. The drive took us through the region of Normandy where we stopped at Monet's house in Vétheuil & saw a historic church that's built into the hillside & historic chateau in La Roche-Guyon that was occupied by the Nazis in WWII. Our guide picked us up right on time & we rode in a really comfortable & spacious Mercedes passenger van. It was a memorable visit & I highly recommend this tour. It was worth every penny!

Our guide Clemence was wonderful. Getting there in the morning enabled us to miss the crush of people while we enjoyed the garden. By the time we got to Monet’s house, it was incredible it crowded, but that didn’t matter as much for the house. This tour was a trip highlight for sure. Not only are the grounds stunning, but the visit gave us a great deal of context for the art we saw in the Musée d’Orsay in Paris.

Philippe have us a great trip and tour of Giverny. Good commentary during drive from Paris to Giverny and at the gardens. He was very savvy - took us into the gardens to beat the crowd of large group tourists. We'd go on his tour anytime!
