What an amazing experience! Highly recommend it!!! The people were welcoming and made certain we had what we needed. Bein Harim was easy to work with in preparing. We hired Bedouin guides with mules on day two so my 82 Year old mother could get to the monastery. My young adult children walked it all. If we had more time we would have done a 3 day and added Wadi Rum, and gone during a cooler time of year. Prepare for a lot of walking both at the border and in the Petra park. It is almost a mile to the Treasury at Petra then more walking to see other things in the park. You can hire a golf cart, or take the free horse ride down. Be sure to exchange Jordanian money for souvenirs, snacks, tips, carts, mules, etc. they prefer it and it is less than using a credit card if you are able. One day won’t give you enough time to really see Petra given the distance.

Struggled with how to rate this as there were some real highs as well as some real lows. Positives - border crossing was made simple, our guide was good and I enjoyed the day in the desert (although there was a lot of free time in the Bedouin camp). Negatives - the itinerary for the day in Petra was not as advertised. The itinerary suggests arriving in Petra at 9 and having 7 hours there, even if everything had gone well we would not have got there before 10.20. Unfortunately things did not go well and the bus broke down. I understand this was unforeseen but the driver and guide didn't know what to do and after an hour and a half waiting one of the group sorted out alternative transportation herself. We didn't get to Petra until 12 and were told we needed to leave by 4 so had just under 4 hours there - really not enough time to see the key places. The operator has offered a small refund, but I feel let down after paying so much money for the tour.

We had a great trip from Eilat, the staff of Abraham Tours made the whole trip feel super safe and convenient. Our guide in Jordan, Mahmmod, was super nice and made the whole trip entertaining. The camp stay was a unique experience and it felt really authentic. There's no wifi in the camp, so you get a better connection with fellow travellers :)

This is possible the best tour I have ever taken Great locations with perfect timings in each place. Eilat is easy to get to and a great start. Boarder is close and easy Aqaba brunch is wonderful Wadi Rum tour breathtaking with a brilliant stay in the Bedouin Tent Camp. Please don’t up grade to a hotel! Petra is spectacular Our tour guide Mo was again one of the beat guides I have ever had We travelled as a family with 17 and 21 year old children and they loved it as much. We actually stay an extra night in Petra and I would recommend this as one day is not enough
