Our experience on the Dhow Creek Cruise in Dubai left us with mixed feelings and a somewhat average impression. While there were elements that added to the charm of the evening, there were also aspects that fell short of our expectations. The entertainment provided during the cruise was enjoyable, with the Tandorum dancer stealing the show and captivating the audience. The lively performance added an artistic touch and created a vibrant atmosphere on board. It was undoubtedly a highlight of the evening. However, the overall dining experience left us with a sense of mediocrity. The food served on the cruise was average, lacking the culinary delights we had hoped for. Although it did not leave a lasting impression, it provided sustenance throughout the evening. One significant downside was the unpleasant odor emanating from the bathroom onboard. This unfortunate issue detracted from the overall ambiance and comfort of the cruise experience. It would have been preferable for this aspect to be addressed to ensure a more pleasant atmosphere for guests. Despite these shortcomings, the redeeming factor of the Dhow Creek Cruise was undoubtedly the breathtaking view of the river at night. As darkness enveloped the surroundings, the shimmering lights reflecting on the water created a truly magical and enchanting sight. This scenic beauty added a touch of romance and created a memorable backdrop for the evening. We hope our feedback helps enhance future guest experiences, ensuring a more enjoyable and exceptional Dhow Creek Cruise adventure in Dubai.
Not sure how to say this without sounding rude. We went on the trip for the meal, the experience of eating it aboard the boat cruising in the Creek and for the cultural experience. The meal was about 3 star out of 5. Not bad, but not great. The cruise through the creek was as expected But, we were looking for an Arabian cultural experience. Instead we had a totally different ethnic group, playing their own ethnic music for background and trying to imitate Arabian dances and culture. It was bad and inappropriate. Had it been advertised as an Indian cultural experience it would have been much more appropriate. I can appreciate that the business may not be owned by someone of Arabian culture, but the show and atmosphere should be made to be authentically Arabian.
Food is very bad, very less quantity serving, that too in que system. Quality is very bad, one time tanaura dance which is very bad, staff behaviour is not in hospitality manner. There’s no separate table for couples. Have shared table with other guests. Food also served very late, cruising time also not good, toilet not clean
It was a horrible trip…there was issue with the boat as soon as we boarded…no lights…ac not working…and food got exhausted…half of the people including my family didn’t got food to eat..it was a nightmare…I wanted to book other ride from your sight…but got scared and switched to other site for all other bookings…ihave requested for the refund…Pls llok into it and process the same…
When we arrived man would not let us board until he had telephoned someone to ensure we were booked on trip. The boat was full we were taken off one and put onto another boat .The buffet was very poor two kinds of rice and the chicken was all bone with no meat .We saw staff throw food left from buffet into creek. The trip sailed to the bridge turned passed where we started and half way down again to turn and return to where we set off from .We did no cruising down creek only to bridge and back basically .Worst dhow cruise we have done in Dubai.
