We had an amazing day with David. He was excellent in every way, showed us exhibits we would almost certainly have missed on our own and explained their history and significance very thoroughly. It shows how much he enjoys his work. He tailored our tour to meet the interests of the adults and kids. I must say the tour was worth every penny and undoubtedly it was one of our best days in London. Thanks to David for making our day special.

Nothing more than a driver. He had an ear bud that had history & facts about different attractions the he merely tried to repeat. He didn’t know anything!

We started out scouring online reviews for private tours, then I emailed them all and waited. I heard back from most, and had trouble with the email for London Country Tours, but I finally got ahold of David. He was very nice and gave me tons of options. I asked his opinion on what to see in a day, and together we came up with Stonehenge, LaCock and Bath. I have always wanted to see Stonehenge, so beyond that I wanted to see the countryside, and bath. I am a travel agent in MN, but hadnt been to this part of the world, so we wanted to see all that we could, with knowledgeable private guides that could be with us along the way. We knew it was going to be a good day when we kept in touch with David all the way up until the day of the tour. We were met a few mins early by Graham in front of our London hotel. He had a great vehicle and off we went in the traffic of the city. Graham knew right where to go to avoid it, and showed us things in the city as we made our way out. We immediately liked Graham, he was very personable and had answers to all of our questions (and we had many). Graham knew how much I'd wanted to see Stonehenge so he brought us to a couple extra stops that were related. One was where they think a Stonehenge was built in wood first, to the Cucko stone (spelling?) and then to a place on the way home where some of the stones came from. He knew about some Harry Potter stuff I didnt even know was in the town of LaCock (I am a huge fan) and walked us through LaCock showing us around. This town was so cute, some places were selling stuff outside of their front doors, and Graham bought us some local dried lavendar. We stopped at a great place for lunch and we bought him his lunch. It was fantastic! The landscape is so lovely, and Graham was happy to stop anywhere and everywhere we asked him to. He had a BIG ole bag of treats and drinks for us, and his vehicle was very comfortable. We had the best day, and we now can look back and feel like we have a friend that lives in London. If we go back, we'll definitely use London Country Tours again, and ask for Graham for sure!

The guide was good and offered lot of historic details about London. But the guide doesn't accompany us to the places and admission process is left to the visitors. There was no prior guidance from the tour operator or guide on waiting time for tickets and tour pf places. The guide took us to places only to realize there is lot of waiting time.

We never could have seen and experienced even half of what we did if we hadn't booked London Country Tours. Martin was our guide and I have to say, we really enjoyed his company and his in depth knowledge of London and it's sights. We got so much out of each venue we visited thanks to Martin. The kids are even putting Martin in our photo book!! We highly recommend touring this way. Worth every penny!!
