    This tour was superb, everything we wanted it to be. Private, so we could go where we wanted, at our pace with a guide that knew everything you could possibly ask him. Dick was calm, enthusiastic and welcoming. He embraced our children and spoke to them at their level without patronising them. We learnt so much and revelled in the continual beauty of the colleges, grounds and history. It felt like Dick was enjoying himself too. The 800 years of excellence and tradition need to be savoured and that’s the chance we got on this tour. We are still buzzing hours afterward. Thank you.

    Our family of four including two young kids aged 10 and 7, thoroughly enjoyed our guided tour with Dick in Cambridge. He arrived promptly at our hotel and greeted us warmly. Dick's extensive knowledge and experience were evident throughout the tour. Not only did he show us around the colleges, but he also revealed hidden gems that we wouldn't have discovered without his expertise.What impressed us the most was how engaging Dick made the tour for our children. He shared fascinating facts, captivating stories, and intriguing mysteries, all while incorporating visual aids like photos to illustrate the past and present. Despite my initial concerns about the kids losing interest, they were thoroughly engrossed in the experience. I highly recommend Dick's guided tours for anyone visiting Cambridge, especially families or small groups. Having a knowledgeable and personable guide like Dick truly enhances the exploration of this historic city.

    First time visitors to Cambridge. Dick was in touch as soon as booking confirmed and happy to meet where suited us too. He also asked where we wanted to visit/see and accommodated accordingly.
