I did a walking tour guided by Chuck and had a wonderful time. Firstly, it was a small group, so no one got lost or left behind and everyone could easily gather around Chuck to hear the information he was telling us. Secondly, the walking was easy (no killer steep hills etc) but it would still be worth wearing a comfortable pair of shoes so you can thoroughly enjoy the walk. (Some streets are cobblestone or paved and so flat walking shoes are always going to be best for balance). Thirdly I had been to Cambridge about 15 years ago and done a walking tour then. Chuck covered 1 or 2 of the standard places you'll find on any walking tour - but I genuinely learned far more new interesting facts and stories about Cambridge. Thoroughly recommend it!

An excellent and informative tour which was not at all fusty or boring. Simon the guide was charming and inclusive and could answer all questions. He knew the history as well as how the colleges work today. He showed us some very interesting architectural features we would have missed on our own. We thoroughly enjoyed our 90 mins with him and would recommend the tour.
