The pickup and transport worked perfectly. We were delayed because a piece of luggage was missing, but the driver waited very patiently for us and was there as soon as we came out of baggage claim. Well done!
This so called “transfer with meet and greet service” was a total letdown. We even called to confirm a day ahead and it all seemed okay but alas, no driver waiting with a name sign on arrival. Called the driver whose number we had been given the day before and he seemed to not even know about us. Endless back and forth via WeChat but in the end, he just stopped replying. Called the “office number” and were told to wait. Ages later, driver called and advised that it will be a further 20 minutes and asked us to meet him in the departures area rather, just like really dodgy Uber drivers tend to do. He arrived up at departures about an hour late and at first was very apologetic but then tried to peddle his sightseeing tours to us during the drive. Needless to say, they cost more than the usual trips here on La Vacanza Travel and these tours include “valuable shopping bargains at selected vendors” so a big no thanks from us. So in the end, no help with the luggage, no time savings (could have called a DiDi for a quarter of the price instantly) and no comfort benefit at all, topped off with a crooky hard sell on sightseeing trips. And we needed functioning data roaming and WeChat on our mobile anyway which luckily we had but good luck if you don’t have any of this and book this transfer in hope you’ll be safe! In the end at the hotel, he weirdly came with us and hang around reception for ages and we just wanted him to finally leave. So beware- this company consists of crooks and are definitely not worth your pretty penny.
Smooth ride. Easy to find the driver once I got through customers. Got me to my hotel quickly and was cordial and a big help. Glad I booked this transfer and would recommend to anyone. Very convenient and worth it.
