We had an amazing time at the Forbidden City with Mike as our tour guide. The arrangement for the tour was seamless and communication was really great. He is so knowledgeable, friendly and passionate about sharing the history of his country. The knowledge he shared with us was essential for us to truly grasp what we were looking at. The Forbidden City is definitely a must see for the architecture and sheer size of such a historical development. Mike expertly navigated the Forbidden City while sharing the history in an engaging manner whilst still giving us the time to admire the sights and explore the Forbidden City ourselves. The tour was a perfect insight into understanding its importance in China’s long history.
Clare is a great guide who went out of the way to explain all the spots and extended the tour by an hour to fully cover all aspects!
Great tour! Would recommend. Bring snacks because Claire is great and gives lots of time to take photos. The palace itself if phenomenal and well worth the fee since getting tickets yourself is almost impossible.
We enjoyed our trip with Jily. She is friendly and cheerful. She gave good explanations about the Forbidden City and her customer service was good.
