My 28 year old daughter and I did this tour on Nov 28, 2018. Overall this activity was good. We went to one local restaurant for breakfast. It was very local where you selected items as you went down the line. Each item was a huge portion expected to be a meal onto itself. Overall the free breakfast in the hotel was better but it was still nice to be out and about. We then went through the Temple of Heaven. It was very nice but a rushed walk through it. Then off to the Pearl Market for 1.5 hours. Very, very fun bargaining. To give you an idea: We found 4 “designer” purses/hand bags that we wanted. The clerk quoted us $1200… 20-minutes later we settled for $125 for the four. I still may have been taken but we had a wonderful time! I wish we had 5 hours there but we were off to our plane. As for the tour it ended there so we could have spent hours before returning to the hotel if our schedule allowed it. This tour met all of my expectations but my main goal was to get out of the hotel and do something before my flight. The tour guide was great and did everything he could to assure we had fun. We booked through La Vacanza Travel.com and it worked great. The tour guide even contacted us the night before to assure our tour.
