We really enjoyed Shanghai as part of our 12 day trip to China. Ryan was our guide in Shanghai and he was very friendly, punctual and willing to help us out with any requests we had which was much appreciated. We went to the Zhujiajiao Water Town which was lovely but we picked January 1 which was a holiday in China and it was extremely busy but I think it would have been lovely to walk around with less people there. Our trip to Suzhou was in the rain but instead of thousands of people there, we were only 211 at the gardens and Tiger Hill, so although wet, we got some fabulous photos of the gardens! The Shanghai Museum was very interesting as well and we loved walking around the Bund at night, so lovely. Renaissance Shanghai Yu Garden Hotel was a great location to explore from.

Our tour guide Ryan was very knowledgeable and informative and we very much enjoyed his company. He was able to fit in our requested visits such as a trip to the new world's biggest Starbucks. We really liked Suzhou (in the rain) - the Humble Administrator's Garden and the wonderful lunch at Yang Yang.
