Our tour with Garth was fantastic! Knowing that there was amazing food to be had in Beijing, but not knowing what or where or how to order it can be frustrating. Garth walked us confidently and rapidly through some of the best food we'd ever eaten, in places we never would have thought to look. We also got amazing descriptions of the history and significance of each dish we had, as well as the neighborhoods they were in.

This tour is highly recommended. It is a great way to learn about the history of Beijing while walking around in the cozy Hutong area and eating local food. The food and drinks were really tasty and definitely things from the menu that we would not have ordered ourselves. Don’t be afraid of going hungry to bed, because this will not happen after this tour! We had a lot of different dishes served in different places that we would never have found and we were really full at the end. Besides the great food, we also enjoyed getting to know more about the Hutong area of Beijing. Our guide new a lot about the area and history of the city and could answer all the questions that we had. There were so many things that surprised us about the history. It was a good balance of great food and history without getting bored 😊 If you are a food lover this tour is a must do in Beijing. The food we ate on this tour was actually the most tasty food we had on our vacation in Beijing.
