Overview

There’s a reason Bath has its name. Its mineral springs and spa traditions are known around the world. Admire the views of Bath Abbey – a 1,300-year-old house of prayer. Enter the Pump Room. Tune in to the classical music as you pass the cafe. The Thermae Bath Spa. Britain’s historical day spa. Walk and discover the Roman and Celtic traditions. Stroll past the River Avon by crossing the Pulteney Bridge. Visit the shops right on the bridge! The Assembly Room and 18 The Circus Apartments are maisonettes. Both are a must-see! Bath is on the World Heritage City list by the way. Our guide will take you to the Royal Crescent. And its row of 30 terraced houses will show you why Bath is on the list!

I had a fantastic tour of the city in early September with a Blue Badge guide called Andrew. He had a wonderful depth of knowledge and a delightful sense of humour. What lovely way to see this city which I have visited quite a few times but always on my own. Thank you Andrew for a really interesting morning!
