Overview

I have been touring the Cotswolds for over 20 years and know it really well and relate this enthusiastically to make your visit very special

Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Cotswolds, Cotswolds, England

We travel to Tetbury ( Prince Charles Highgrove shop) through Cirencester to Bourton on the Water with all its bridges.. On to the small village of Lower Slaughter ( recent filming of Emma - Jane Austen) On to Stow on the Wold and down to Burford. It is often possible to have English afternoon tea at one of these delightful villages)
A stop further on at Bibury with its Arlington row old woollen cottages. Normally we will stop for 20-30 mins at each village to achieve photos etc
No tour would be complete without Castle Combe( many film sets) for many a favourite with its Manor house Norman church and stream with the idyllic bridge.
We return to Bath. fully exhilarated.
This covers a very well thought out route through The Cotswolds, taking in most of the spectacular villages you would have seen in all the tourist literature and some you may not have thought about.
However you may have other suggestions and I will do my best to include them,

We saw many beautiful villages during our Cotswolds tour. Our guide was very knowledgable and structured the tour so our last (and favorite) village (Castle Coombe) visited was nice and quiet when we got there.

It was a journey to a lovely area but we didn’t have much say on what we saw and our tour guide was cranky and really made the experience not as fun. He started off by letting me know he would have cancelled the tour because we were so out of the way, except he gets docked by La Vacanza Travel if he does that. It just wasn’t what we hoped for but the area is beautiful.

My wife and I spent the whole day on a sunny Sunday with Paul Elliott driving around and exploring villages and sites around the Cotswolds. We found the terrain and scenery beautiful and tranquil. Our guide Paul arrived early, his car was immaculate and his driving sure and steady. What was most impressive and interesting was his breadth and depth of knowledge on many topics, not just about the Cotswolds. Bath, London, English history, religion and much more kept us entertained and educated the full day. He knows the "side doors" into many spots that often get visited by tour groups, getting us in and out with minimal crowd contact. All in all, a very enjoyable day with an experienced, in-demand guide who knows his stuff. If you get the chance to book him, do it, you'll be glad you did.

Cotswold is a Georgian English style homes well preserved so close to City of Bath. Enjoyed our day despite raining and Paul was extremely good tour guide for our full day trip. Able to see most beautiful town Castle Combe, thank you. All the towns in Cotswold have their own unique charms and characters. We are so grateful to had seen them.

Paul made our tour very special. He organized the stops very efficiently in order to avoid crouds and optimize the experience. He arranged for afternoon tea during the day which was quite nice.
