The day couldn't have been better or more rewarding. Colin not only knows the wines of the Alsace region, has expertise in the history and the architecture. And he had access to wineries that others do not. Even more fun, Colin became visibly excited when the vintners brought out special wines for us to try. We would happily give Colin extra stars if we could

This tour was AMAZING! Just book it! Colin was very easy to communicate with and kept us updated as the Christmas Markets played havoc with the schedule. He was so accommodating and showed remarkable patience. His wine knowledge is very extensive and he has developed wonderful relationships with the vintners and local people. The three wineries we visited were all so special and different. Each one had its own unique story and wine. We learned a lot about the Alsace wine region, grapes and terroirs. We look forward to coming back and booking another tour with Colin.

Colin’s tour was outstanding! Better than we could have expected (even after reading all of these reviews)! He was so knowledgeable about wine and the area, friendly and welcoming, and took us on a fantastic tour to 3 wineries and some adorable towns. The wine was fabulous and the views even better. We couldn’t have asked for a better day! Highly recommend this to everyone.

We had the absolute best time on our tour to the Alsace region of France. It was so neat to be staying in Switzerland but able to travel over to France for the day. Colin was extremely knowledgeable and gave us so much great information. The ride was amazing - so much scenery to take in on the way. We got to visit three very different wineries which was especially awesome because of the ability to compare and contrast 3 very different operations. It was so much fun to try so many different types of wine and learn the history behind each place we visited. We also had lunch at a charming bistro with excellent food and made our way back to Basel. My husband forgot his jacket in the car at drop off and before we even realized it was gone, Colin had dropped it off with our hotel. Such a great experience! Run - don’t walk - and book your tour! You won’t regret it!

We wanted to book a wine tour that was a wee bit special, so I approached Colin via the WineWeinVinoVin website, and I'm so glad I did! Myself and my wife had an absolutely brilliant tour round three beautiful medieval villages in Alsace, and three wonderful family owned wineries. Colin picked us up from and dropped us back at our hotel in Colmar, and couldn't have been a better and friendlier guide! He has a huge breadth of knowledge regarding the history of the local area, and all things wine. (I mean ALL things wine!) He even made a lunch reservation for us at a beautiful wee brasserie. If you want a truly special tour off the beaten track where you feel like a VIP, look no further than WineWeinVinoVin. Thank you Colin! Iain & Steph
