We had a wonderful time with our tour guide Karet. He was very knowledgeable about the sights and about Bangkok/Thailand. We learned a lot during the tour. I can't recommend this tour enough! Well worth the money for the short period of time.

The tour started early 8am so journey was good as traffic was light. The palace is amazing and having an individual guide was a really great way to see it. The guide was really well organised and got us to the different places during the tour having the van drop us off at one point and pick us at another so we never had to retrace our footsteps. He even managed to slip in a visit to the flower/fruit market which was fascinating. The guide’s knowledge was very comprehensive, he was also very accommodating to our walking speed, as I walk with a stick and he carried water for us throughout the tour. The long tail boat ride was great and the guide made sure that it stopped at places to get photos, including dragons, Buddha statues and feeding the fishing (he also took photos and shared them with us electronically. It was a great morning out and as our hotel was on the river we were dropped off at the end.

Everything was well organized and put together. The guide kas very interested and knowledgeable in the topic and had an answer to all our questions. The tour lasted about 1.5 hours over the given time. It was said that drinking water was included, but it wasn't and sitting in a boat during a hot day and not getting any water got a little exhausting.
