There is no better way to learn authentic Thai cooking than taking an authentic cooking class in Thailand. You don't need prior cooking skills - just a love for eating Thai food!

What Can You Expect?

This half-day cooking class will introduce you to the wonderful world of Thai flavors allowing you to take your knowledge home with you so you can make authentic Thai dishes back home in your own kitchen.

Your class will be held at The Baipai Thai Cooking School, an ideal home-style learning environment that aims at cooking a style of Thai food that is different from most of the hotels and restaurants in Thailand. Spend the morning learning to prepare 4 authentic Thai dishes. During all classes, the school's instructional emphasis is always focused on the same three things: traditional Thai technique, innovative use of ingredients, and aesthetic presentation. You will be guided by professional teaching staff who possess years of experience in this specialized area of Thai culinary delights! They are as enthusiastic about Thai food as they are sharing their knowledge with you.

All classes are conducted in English and are a "hands on.' This is an experience not be missed.

I really enjoyed the experience and learned so much about food. Som was really helpful and knowledgable showed us around the food market tasting various things and provided alternatives if we could not find it back home. The school was held in such a relaxing venue and great place to cook. I did want more hands on in cooking but due to time and the 4 recipes we went through it was limited but enjoyed it all. Thank you Som to you and your team for making it a positive experience.

My husband and I booked on an afternoon cooking class, after really enjoying our class we did whilst on holiday in Kuala Lumpur. The whole experience was great fun and one that we would thoroughly recommend to anyone wanting to learn about Thai food and culture. We were collected from our hotel at 12.30pm and then taken to the cooking school about 30 minutes drive away. We then spent a lovely afternoon with four other guests learning about Thai ingrediants and cooking (and eating!) a variety of dishes ourselves. I was the only vegetarian on the course but was very well catered for and was able to cook the veggie equivalent of all the dishes that the others were making. All the food was quite straightforward to make which meant that we left feeling confident that we could try them ourselves at home. All the staff were friendly, knowledgable and fun and really seemed to want to make our day special. They even gave us fridge magnets with a photo they had taken of us all individually to take home and then also emailed us the other pictures they had taken of us throughout the afternoon! Fantastic afternoon which filled us up so much that we didn't need dinner that evening! I would recommend this to anyone!

We had a wonderful time at Baipai cooking school, the site is beautiful with large open air spaces. Pop and Charles were super nice and they both spoke great english. The dishes were simple, pretty much fail proof. It was very good as an introduction to Thai cooking. The market we visited before arriving at the school is very clean and organised compared to other markets in town. The only thing to keep in mind is the Bangkok traffic is crazy. If you are getting picked up in the city, they might choose a nearby location for you to get to from your hotel.
