Overview

Explore the creepy sites in Singapore with "Ghost Hunting" equipment and hear stories about World War II in Singapore. Visit several "creepy places" including a cemetery and hear creepy tales of Singapore from our guide.

Walk along a bridge in a secluded and quiet hill. Rumours have it that many have lost their lives there. So, if you dare, keep your eyes on the surrounding as we make our way there. At the top of the trail, we’ll share with you the ghastly story of a local war hero.

Next, we’ll take you to a coastal gun battery near a beach, a place where the Japanese possibly massacred thousands of innocent people during the “Sook Ching” operation. There, you’ll learn how the Japanese tried to suss out the spies and the gruesome stories of how they dealt with them.

Our last walk will be down one of the world’s largest Chinese cemetery. It’s estimated to house over 100,000 tombs. During the walk, we’ll share with you some interesting stories of ‘our friends’ there.

We were a group of 3 singaporeans and 1 american and we all really enjoyed the historical part and learned a lot even if the singaporeans learned about Singaporea WW2 history in school. We were also thoroughly scared and entertained during the tour. Our group had a varying level of enthusiasm about encountering paranormal activity but we all enjoyed ourselves. It was definitely creepy!!

What an experience to get the heart racing! I love going on Ghost Tours to hear about the darker history and with this tour had the bonus on learning about Singapore during WWII. Was enthralled how Singaporean people lived and survived while being occupied by the Japanese. As for ghosts it is up for you to find out. I was certain that there was a presence, curious about the group that night but alas no photo proof. At the end of the tour we explored one of the largest Chinese cemetery which unfortunately will no longer be around in 5 years time. So different to western cemeteries was so fascinating. I thoroughly enjoyed this tour and highly recommend either for the ghosts or the history or both!

Really enjoyed this tour, especially the locations visited and the Singapore's history generally and especially the war history provided. It really wasn't terribly "creepy" and the haunted bit felt a little bit gimmicky, but the guides were knowledgeable, the tour was well put together and it was a lot of fun. We went places that we would never have visited if not on this tour. I would definitely recommend it.

What I love most about this tour is the amount of new information I received about the historical aspect of Singapore during WW2. This is reflective of the amount of research Stanley has done to ensure information gathered is accurate and accounts of what happened then and what was said is delivered in the most authentic manner along with photos. I also enjoyed the cemetery visit. It brought me back to my childhood days where I would visit relative’s grave to clean and pay my respect during Qing Ming Festival. Graveyards may soon become a thing of the past in Singapore. Before I can no longer lay my hands on someone’s tomb, I am certainly glad I had that opportunity to reminisce how majestic I thought these tombs were as a child and again as an adult. Our ancestors certainly placed value on a person’s life and death beyond what we can comprehend. Thank you Stanley! And thank you Jasmine! You both work really well together and are an amazing pair of guides who bring different perspectives of “east meets west”.

Well I am just gonna copy paste the message I left them, with my thoughts at the end Hi Jasmine, I just wanted to write you a note to let you know that I really enjoyed the tour last evening. It was well thought out and organised. I noticed you and Stanley always had one person in the front and one in the back for safety. I think it was great fun and I asked my sisters to go too and they said they were too scared! I really appreciate the thought that went into explaining the aggression of the Japanese in Asia and eventually Malaya and the fall of Singapore what happened after that until the split from Malaysia and our unwanted declaration of independence. I hope the teenagers now could hear that too, and this platform could be great for that. I think this tour was very well organised and just great fun. Thank you and good luck to you (Jasmine) and Stanley! end As a Singaporean I have been on some tours in my schooling days but this taught me quite a bit. My favourite bit was the guides explaining the heroics of our defenders on Bukit Chandu let by our by one of our own, Lieutenant Adnan Saidi and what happened on the Japanese occupation to our people. It is a very good journey through history from the beginning of the Japanese aggression in China to the invasion of Malaya and the fall of Singapore to our independence. And through out this was filled with creepy stories linked to that history. I would highly recommend this to upper secondary, poly, jc and ite students to check it out. It is informative, fun and safe yet thrilling.
