With effect from 15th November 2021, Hong Kong International Airport will be segregated into two zones.

Green Zone – Gate 5-24. Designated for Mainland China Flights.

Orange Zone – Gate 25-71. Designated for International Flights.

However, Plaza premium First is Temporarily closed until further notice .

I’ve previously stayed at the plaza lounge at Changi airport and have always had amazing food, customer service and there seating is truely comfortable and spacious. I thought I could expect the same in Hong Kong but that’s definitely not the case. The receptionists vibe towards me changed as soon as I asked for assistance due to a lower back/hip injury. The first thing she tells me is that i’m not allowed my trolley, I then see she let asian couples bring their trolleys in. Their actions made me feel more like a nuisance then a welcomed PAYING customer. The food is also extremely basic especially for what’s supposed to be a “premium lounge”. The food stalls are better and have a wider range and are quiet cheap. The bathroom amenities are really nice but it’s the smaller details you really notice and in my case there was mould all in the corners of my shower. The furniture, as pretty as it may look is also extremely uncomfortable. Great for tiny people but not so much for taller people.

I am a vegan and they catered for me. It was so nice after a long flight with poor meal choices and long layover. I really appreciate the team especially the front desk staff, Andy. Thank you Andy for making my layover relaxing and stress-free... Will be sure to come back again!

Staff are helpful and nice. very limited choices during Cov19. in general, good place for you to recharge and eat. the coffee machine is easy to use and having a cup of nice coffee is a relaxing. The bathroom and shower room is clean. and they would provide hand sanitizer and lotion

Sure, Covid-19 is out there but to limit service to this level is robbery. First, yes, no Star Alliance lounge is open at HK airport, one must buy entrance at one of the other two open lounges. Food is super limited, drinks as well, sallad meny serviced in plastic glass, sandwich is tiny. We had 11 hours between our flights and my behind was in pain when we left due to the hard chairs. USD 200 is what we spend to spend our time here. Yeah, we are crazy but anyways- this lounge have showers. Summary: $200 for a shower, poor food and limited menu, very limited with drinks (no Whiskey either).
