I recently met up with Yammy from Hong Kong foodie tours for a one on one tour. Even though I was the only guest, her passion and knowledge was evident all tour, it was appreciated. Being born and raised in Hong Kong allowed me to share some of her favourite establishments, as well as kitchen tours, and ‘hidden’ cafes only locals would know about. Most of the places you visit have been around for 50 years or more, a testament to the quality of meals and drink offered to you. Would I recommend this tour... yep 100% Thank you Yammy for such a wonderful and inciteful tour.

Took tour with my wife and daughter. The tour guide was Ed and he did a great job. Easy meeting location and then off for the food! Come HUNGRY as there are noodles, barbecue pork, preserved fruit, Dim Sum and an Egg tart!

Thanks Yammy! I would not hesitate to recommend this food tour. We had a great afternoon touring restaurants that we either would not know existed or would not be inclined to enter, learning about some new foods, some local specialties and some general information on Hong Kong and both its past and future in regards to restaurants and food. The fact we were able to enter one of the kitchens to see it in action and to understand the work environment was even more special. And we went back for more Dim Sum the next day. I look forward to doing more food tours around the world!

Had a great time at this food tour. I was able to try some of the most signature Hong Kong dishes, like Won Ton in soup, roast pork and Dim Sum. There is a huge selection of restaurants serving these dishes in HK, and I felt that the places we visited during the tour offered very good, above average, quality. Aside from that, Ed, my guide, provided a lot of insight into chinese food culture, the neighbourhoods we visited, and the challenges the local community faces these days. Furthermore, he was not shy to provide me with a lot of recommendations on what to do and eat during my stay, so I would suggest doing this tour in the beginning of your visit. If I come back to HK I will definitely try one of the other tours they offer!

Enjoyed this tour of our local area during COVID restrictions and almost no tourism in HK. Yammy our guide, had taken a second job with the lack of tourists - but both of us and Yammy herself enjoyed running the tour for my husband and me. All of the locals called out as we walked along - through each market stall! Terrific opportunity to see our local area (as expats) - wandering and seeing inside kitchens of places we hadn't dared to visit ! We now have many new places to eat at !! Thanks Yammy !!!
