Sitting in the heart of Doha is Souq Waqif - one of the most popular tourist destinations in Qatar and a major shopping hub too! Souq Waqif is a place where you can hang out with your loved ones, hold a falcon, stroke a camel, watch mounted heritage police officers in traditional 1940s Qatari uniforms and take lots of photographs!

A 10km long, palm-fringed promenade and dual carriageway extends in a horseshoe shape around Doha Bay and the city's sea-front. People love to stroll along the corniche, taking in the twinkling sights of the city and the Arabian Gulf.
