We had a great time with Desert Rose Tourism. Fahood was our driver there, and was there at our accommodation 10mins early, which is good to see. The kayaking was good fun, my partner she had never kayaked before and she loved it, taking many photos enjoying the sunset. It did get a little crowded paddling through the mangroves, with some chaotic bumper car type action, but still all enjoyable fun.

The kayaking was a lot of fun but we booked during low tide so we were unable to kayak through the mangroves which was the whole reason we booked the tour. The tour operators told us we could come back the next day at no cost but that didn’t work for our schedule which was disappointing. We were there at sunset which was beautiful and the tour guides helped us take some really amazing photos. We had never kayaked but did have experience canoeing and it was easy to pick up. We were a group of three and went in one single and one double kayak. The current was strong in one direction but we were absolutely fine. You get soaked from the waist down and may need to walk a distance to the kayak depending on the tide. Make sure you wear a swim suit under your clothes and/or bring a full change of clothes. You will need it! There are showers to use at the end to get the sand off. So, would definitely recommend just do your homework before booking so you get everything you expect from the experience.
