Hyderabad's history can be traced to the 16th century when Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah established the city. The Qutb Shahi dynasty remained in power for close to century before the Mughals came and conquered the area.

Soon, a Mughal viceroy by the name of Asif Jah I declared sovereignty and established his own dynasty: the Nizams of Hyderabad.

Evidence of all these can be seen in Hyderabad today and have even made its way into its cuisine. And you can see these remembrances of the past and more with Hyderabad holiday packages.
